Forest School at Wells Hall is offered to Nursery and Reception and Years 1, 3, and 5 through a series of regular sessions.

During these sessions we focus on development of our whole school ethos of Respect – for each other, ourselves and the natural world. We do this by putting the child at the centre of our learning process, encouraging play and exploration.

Within our session’s children are taught practical skills such as safe tool use, shelter building, fire management, team work and supported risk taking.

Our children develop confidence, resilience and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting.
